hello,
I'm Kate

You may think that behind Arrows of Wonder is a huge team of people, tucked away in a warehouse somewhere distributing books to your door and making a profit while doing so. However, the reality is that we are a small family business, started by a Mama, just like you, who wanted to homeschool her kids beyond what we know homeschool to be. I wanted a way to connect with my kids, to always keep their minds sharp in a broken world and to never stop getting to know them, whether they are 4 or 14. For many, homeschool is intimidating. We think it's too much to handle - and the truth is for much of the curriculum available, it is a lot to handle. We are handed a destination with limited direction and not enough time or supplies to get us there without confusion and stress. With Arrows of Wonder, my goal was to encompass connection and wonder without cutting into precious family time and adding chaos. After prayerfully seeking an answer, I was led to write my own curriculum that would do just that.

As a Mama of five myself, I truly understand what an undertaking homeschooling is. There are days where I am running on an empty cup and barely making it through, but even on those days, it has been worth every single drop that I have poured out of me and into the lives of my children. Together, I truly believe that homeschool families unite as one and complete this curriculum along side one another in an online community of support and encouragement.

We are only with our kids a short time before we have to release them into the world. And when that release comes, we must make sure our children are confident and equipped for their path forward; that we are aiming them in the right direction. We can do this by not only being an example for them to follow, but also by using the ever-fleeting moments we have with them to teach them, nurture them, and truly be present with them - to show them exactly who God has called them to be. My prayer is that this curriculum serves as a path for you to do just that.
